Tatajuba

It is a medium sized tree that can reach between 15 and 30 m, with an elongated and thin can-opy. The stem is cylindrical, with 40 to 80 cm in diameter, a thick and fibrous bark, but soft, releasing a white latex when cut with abundant. The leaves are simple, opposite and triner-vadas. Blooms during the months of April to August and fruits between September and Febru-ary. The fruits are edible and very popular-to the fauna.
