American Pine

Pines are evergreen and also rsinosas plants. The bark of most pines is thick and scaly-sa. Pines grow well in acid soils and in some calcareous soils, although the great May-ity of this species requires a well-drained or sandy soil. The pine is commercially enforce-tant in the production of wood in temperate and tropical regions of the planet. Many of them are used as raw material for producing directed to the production of paper pulp. The pine is a light and a fast growing timber.
